The atmosphere, the service, the food, were incredible. I went for lunch on a Thursday with some work colleagues and had to take my husband back on Saturday to try it again. We will be going back I am sure, many, many times!

We heard good things about this restaurant and everything we heard was true and more. When we walked in the front door, we felt transported to the North End of Boston. The atmosphere, the decor, and most of all the aromas. The food was wonderful, the service was terrific and the warm, calming atmosphere of the restaurant will draw us back again and again.

Home-style cooking. Open 7 days a week. Prices very reasonable, service excellent, family atmosphere. On our last trip we had real turkey sandwiches. We frequent there 2 to 3 times a week.

I heard there were new owners at Tonino's, so my husband and I thought we would give it another try as our last experience there wasn't that great. We were disappointed again with the food. We started with stuffed clams for an appetizer. They were horrible, didn't get a clam taste and way too peppery. I ordered the haddock special which sounded very good. But the sauce tasted soapy. The staff and service was good, but our meals were not.

We visited one Friday night (around 8:30 pm), sat at the bar, and ordered a glass of wine and a beer. Bartender had a difficult time trying to find a Coors Light in a bottle went out back and did not return. The other bartender poured me a draft. The two bartenders seemed more focused on cleaning and counting their tips than waiting on the customers. We decided to try the calamari appetizer. The calamari was loaded with garlic and hot peppers, it was very good. After the calamari, we decided to order some food to go, with another glass of wine and beer. My wife ordered the Fish & Chips and I ordered the Calamari appetizer as a meal. Got home (5 minutes away) and the food absolutely terrible! The Fish & Chips was dry and over cooked, the calamari was rubbery and no garlic.

Three of us went to dinner last night, and after a lengthy wait, on a not so busy night, for our food, upon serving, all three dishes were cold. I ordered fried haddock/scallops, but the fries were over cooked. We all returned our dishes, they came back a second time, and although the food was hot, the fries were not replaced, they were the same overcooked fries. Service was slow, food tasted good, minus the overcooked fries. Prices were high.

On a crowded week night, the service was incredible. Due to the busy atmosphere, the food wasn't right out. We waited 15 minutes (we had our drinks and bread basket so we were fine). Our waitress noticed and insured us we would have our food within minutes. Next thing we knew, the manager came over and insisted we get free dessert! When our food finally arrived, we were all pleasantly surprised. It was a great ending to a very busy work day. And the cheesecake was delicious!

This restaurant has the best Roast Duck entree we've ever had! The chef is amazing! The staff is very accommodating and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The owners are always there to welcome the customers. The bartender, well we can't say enough about her! The clam chowder and lobster bisque are out of this world!

Since the Midwest Grill opened their 2nd site in Saugus, I have wanted to give it a try. Finally this past weekend a friend and I decided to go. You start off with a hot and cold buffet - salad, beans, rice, fried plantains, chicken dishes, and much, much more. Once you have your plate and take your seat, they start coming around with skewer after skewer of roast beef, lamb, chicken wrapped in bacon, short ribs, sausage, etc. You can try what you want to, and skip what you don't. When you find a meat you especially enjoy, they will give you an extra large serving if you request it. For all you get, the price is very reasonable.

We went into this restaurant because it was right next door to the movies. It was so very crowded so I figured the food must be terrific. My husband's sandwich was alright but I ordered a margarita pizza and it was terrible, the cheese was so dried up I couldn't eat it. The waitress was very nice and the manager was also very nice but for what I could see around me the portions served were very small and not worth the price.

I adored their Tuna Tartare made with slices of green apple and sesame. The apple added a unique twist and hint of tartness that really livened up the dish. My friend had the sliders with Manchego cheese which were cooked to a perfect medium rare and served on a tasty little brioche. We finished off the meal with an order of the Churros served with a homemade chocolate sauce that cannot be missed.

Someone suggested we try this Cafe for breakfast knowing we like to search out new places. The Orange Ginger Pancakes were thin and flavorless with potatoes of little taste that were not hot. My thick- Texas style French Toast was small, thin and rather bland. Obviously the Chef had never been to Texas! This all added to the discomfort of sitting at much too small a table sipping old coffee and English Breakfast Tea with an ‘aroma’ of coffee flavor! The only positive comment is for a very pleasant and helpful waitress who pointed out some of the food choices on their very pricy menu.

Frankly, the best Thai food we have ever had. We are thrilled to have this hidden gem so close to us in Downtown Haverhill. Since opening a short time ago, my wife and I have eaten here at least a dozen times. Everything we have tried has been outstanding; the Spicy Pad Thai, the Crazy Noodle, and my personal favorite- the Spicy Basil Fried Rice. Not only is the food superb, but the service has been outstanding.

I was really looking forward to trying this place because I am a very big fan of Mexican foods. We arrived about 4pm to beat the crowds. Was seated promptly and were given chips and salsa. The menu was quite extensive and the prices were very reasonable. First I ordered a Sangria which I was disappointed with because it was a small glass of wine with out any fruit in it which is customary. I then ordered a Chimichanga with shrimp. The food came quickly and we were surprised to see the incredibly small portions. Even the rice and beans were portioned lightly. The quality was good yet we were informed that their prices were going up soon. We left hungry.

Waitress could care less about our drink order. The place was empty and she was standing around with the other waitresses before finally coming over to acknowledge us. The food was very disappointing. Served stone cold and she mixed up my husband's order so he ate 15 minutes after I did and she did not apologize. Needless to say this restaurant is off our list in the future.

The decor is very classy, with impressive art work created by the owner's wife. The fine table linens and the unique colorful dishes were very welcoming. The Italian music in the background really added to the ambiance of our whole dining experience. For lunch, my friend and I ordered the small, but generous portion of homemade ravioli. She chose the special of the day, beet ravioli stuffed with pureed beets, walnuts, and goat cheese, served in a light and creamy four-cheese sauce. I had the delicious ricotta ravioli. The owner and chef, Tony from Florence Italy, also served as our waiter. He was very pleasant and treated us like royalty.

I was sure surprised when we walked in and saw a very nice interior with flowers and booths with high sides for privacy. The help couldn’t be better; very friendly and helpful. The buffet had food to please any taste. I was surprised to see the variety of items. There was a lot more than just Chinese food. Everything that my wife and I tried was excellent. I don’t think you can beat it at its price of $8.99. We will go back soon.

Upon receiving my order, my broccoli was doused with salt and pepper. My friend couldn't even finish her French fries because they, too, were also heavily salted. I had a margarita (minus the salt), hoping to wash everything down, but was, yet, again, disappointed. The $6 cocktail was overpowered with sour mix.

We went there with 15 people for Mother's day. We were in a back room, which was ok, but the waitress seemed like every time we asked her for something, it was a bother. I ordered the roast leg of Lamb. The meat was dry, the gravy was too much and she forgot to bring my vegetables until I asked. Overall, I don't think I would go back, or at least not on a holiday.

My family and I have frequented their luncheon buffet many times, never leaving a tip, as we don't believe in tipping, especially for a buffet. When they saw that we didn't leave a tip last week, they took it upon themselves to add 10% to our bill! The gall! I questioned it and the manager was very rude, explaining that we never leave a tip and that is how the wait staff gets paid. I told her that I expect service to come with the meal and be good; we certainly are paying enough for our meal! The customers should not be responsible for paying your staff! She wouldn't hear of it, so I told her that she just lost 2 customers. She said, 'Good. Go somewhere else!' If this restaurant were the last place on earth, I wouldn't eat there.

They were busy, which was nice to see, especially on a Monday night. The grilled pear salad is awesome! My son had the gnocchi with smoked mozzarella for an appetizer which he loved. We had the cashew crusted chicken with a wonderful winey/Madeira sauce, fresh mashed potatoes, gently sautéed carrots and zucchini and garnished with asparagus. The food is Contemporary American with a Flare. The Chef is a Graduate of the CIA and the food is nothing short of fantastic! We started off with Lobster crab cakes that teased us into our meals. We then split Ahi tuna that was sesame encrusted and prepared to perfection. In addition, we shared baked prawns stuffed with lobster and sea scallops over a bed of ginger salad with fresh red, yellow tomatoes and avocados. The atmosphere is trendy, the service was great, the chef is masterful and this is a restaurant that people must visit.

On Mother's Day we chose The Weathervane for it's reputation for great seafood, and we were extremely disappointed. My meal was cold and tasteless with tiny fried 'Sea Scallops' that were the size of dimes, with soggy tasteless breading, the fries were limp and cold. My daughters meal did into come out until everyone at the table was almost done eating, and it was ice cold and overcooked, like it had been sitting under the heat lamps way too long. I was very upset but did not want to show my family I was unhappy on Mother's Day.
