Every time we go the food and service is excellent! The fried clams are the best. The seafood chowder is super. Sandwiches are also great. Ask for the sour cream French fries! Very good.

Last week, we ate at the loft which seems to have a good reputation, but my sirloin tip dish was raw and not medium well as I ordered. Also, the meat was too tough. They were nice enough to give me a new order which was much better.

Something unfortunate has happened here because the last few meals I've had at this restaurant have had no resemblance to the meals of years past. After waiting close to 40 minutes for our meal this time, the chowder arrived cold, not fresh and not well-flavored. Our sandwiches were just OK, although the turkey was sliced so thin that it was crumbling and falling out of the bread and the accompanying chips were smashed to bits. The usual pickle we had received on previous visits was also missing.

I just want to say what a fabulous job Mann’s is doing for lunch. They serve lunch Tuesday-Friday 11-2. They have a very healthy menu and the portion size is just right. I met the chef and told her what a great job she's doing. I go there every Friday to have lunch. It's fantastic. Eating at Mann's I feel like I died and went to heaven.

I attended a function this weekend and it was awful. I'm sure there will be some who love them but, how difficult is it to make a decent Chicken Parm? Plus, watered sauce added to the ziti. Ate very little.....yuck!! Perhaps it was just the function food but.......not good.  Also, waitstaff less than attentive. Waitress was annoyed that people wanted more coffee. Hubby got up and got the carafe to serve some guests. When the waitress arrived she commented that, 'you're doing my job'! He responded, ' someone had to do it!'

Might be one of the most overlooked restaurants in Lawrence. Food is always very good and hot. It has tables and comfortable seating at the food bar. From the soup to their great veal cutlets; food is always great. Their staff is also very friendly. I have been going there for at least 45 years. They are very consistent.

We thoroughly enjoyed the seared chicken and New York sirloin specials. Our meals were tasty, piping hot and hit the spot. Our server, seemed indifferent on a not very busy Thursday night. She seemed more interested in going home rather than offering us coffee and dessert. The food and atmosphere were excellent. The service was a strong 'okay.'

Place is lovely but the food was terrible. First, the coffee was cold. It took an hour to get our meal and there was only about four other tables being served. Two of us ordered NY Sirloin which comes with a sauce. The meat was tough and there was no sauce; the mashed potatoes and vegetable were barely lukewarm.

My family and I attended the brunch there. We had about 20 people in our party, and the waitresses were excellent and so was the food. The variety of food was extremely well, and the display of food was extremely appetizing and inviting. I can not say enough for the food, atmosphere and service. The waitress Christinia and the rest were outstanding.

The service and the food at Romaine's is excellent. Everything from my wedge salad with blue cheese buttermilk dressing, to the crab cake appetizer to the wood grilled sword fish with grilled asparagus was incredible. The staff is attentive. The service is usually swift and they have an extensive wine list. The dessert list may be small but what they offer is fantastic. I recommend the creme brulee.

Disappointed in with Angelica’s. I have been going there for years. Here are some of the complaints from our party of five on our last visit. Hash brown potatoes were cold, scallops were not up to par with no flavor, salad was fair, pot roast was dry and gravy was medium, rice pilaf was very dry, roast beef was tough. Had better dinners there is the past.

I have been here on three occasions and have not been disappointed. The pizza has a blackened crust and rich flavor from the many toppings offered. I realize the new owners can make any changes they want but 'if it ain't broken - don't fix it.' The kitchen has always been open until 10:30 Sun - Thurs. and until 11:00 Fri & Sat. They never closed early unless inclement weather. Now when it gets a little slow they shut down the kitchen. People coming in as early as 9:30 are sometimes turned away. There's no consistency. Also, they have a large, extensive bar but often run out of the most popular liquors. The prices have recently been increased but the portions for the most part are good.

It's a nice family restaurant with an old fashion atmosphere. You are always handed two menus, one for breakfast and one for lunch/dinner. The food was delicious as always. First we were severed hot biscuits and corn bread muffins. I enjoyed the Thursday turkey special. This included 4 nice slices of turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes and hot turkey gravy on top. Another member of my family had the grilled chicken tenders, steak fries, salad and baby carrots. Lastly, the third member of the family enjoyed a breakfast which included blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. We all ate to our hearts content. The services was excellent and the waitress was attentive and courteous

At one time, the Ashworth was one of our favorite places, and was the scene of many special family dinners. Over the past few years, it has deteriorated badly. We went to the Mother's Day buffet, and it was terrible. Cold food, old food, a dessert table that was wiped out by the first group to hit it, thus leaving the less favorable desserts for the rest of us since nothing was ever replaced. Although it was not crowded when we were there, the service was abominable. We also were charged full price for a 4-year old and a 2-year old, although the 4-year old only had a cup of chowder (that had nothing in it - just fluid), and the 2-year old had a small slice of turkey and a spoon of carrots. What a waste of money for something that nobody in our group enjoyed.

Well were we surprised and happy! They have Lebanese and American food, and it is all fresh and really a good value! I had the Kibbee and rice and was not disappointed. Went there on Monday night about 8:45 for a late supper. Service was fine. Husband ordered a burger, said it was good (what can you do to a burger?) I ordered a Stir Fry chicken dish, new to the menu. Nothing was stir fried, including the vegetables that appeared to have been a frozen mix of onion, peppers and some water chestnuts and celery with a soy type sweet sauce. The chicken? A grilled chicken breast, sliced on the diagonal, and the noodles were lukewarm.

We recently had lunch at the Sea Ketch and it was enjoyable from start to finish. The weather was nice so we decided to eat outside on their upper deck which overlooks the ocean. We started with drinks and steamers which were perfectly cooked - very tender and sweet and, most importantly, not one bit of sand or grit! We were still a little hungry so we split a fried shrimp dinner which turned out to be another great choice. The shrimp were a good size and coated in a lovely batter that was very light, but had a nice crunch. All in all, a wonderful dining experience.
