I heard this restaurant 'zinged' last Sunday, and I could not disagree more. When we want an exceptional meal and a special night out at the Seacoast, we go to Ron's Landing. We have visited multiple times, as a group and as a couple, and have never been disappointed. Please note my disagreement with the review aired on the radio on May 20th.

Was definitely not one of my finer dining experiences. We went a birthday celebration. The dining party was 3 generations, so we ordered from both the adult and child's menu. Our party was 9 people. There were 9 chairs at the table, but all the extra table adornments were piled up in front of the 9th chair. Portions were small. Best looking meal was broiled salmon. There were evening specials that started at 6pm, but were not available before that (even though it would have arrived after 6pm). $ 16.99 for an uneventful Caesar salad with steak tips was a little pricey.

We were running late, so decided to try Bob's as it seemed like the service would be quicker. It was. They have a good variety on their menu. We both got lobster rolls. They were delicious! Just a touch of mayo. They came with fries and pickles. It was a good value, filling, and the service was quick and pleasant.

On May 26 we decided to check-out the newly renovated Michael's Harborside in Newburyport. It's much more spacious and lighter in decor and has brand new tables and chairs that are more modern than what was there before. Looking at the menu we were disappointed to see that that had been renovated as well. The old local favorites are no longer available and items are more expensive.

Best meal I've had in years! I visited Troquet with two of my friends a few weeks ago and all three of us were so impressed that we had to make a second visit this past weekend. Although the restaurant is on the small side the decor was very hip but cozy and the staff was friendly and prompt. The wine menu was exceptional and food was impeccable. I highly suggest the seared sea scallops, the ricotta cavatelli, and the duck confit. And if you're a fan of foie gras this is the place to have it. Troquet has been added to my 'must go once a month' list! Absolutely fabulous experience!

The food was excellent. My favorite was the lamb kimi. The dishes change daily and include many vegetarian options. Each dish was well-seasoned without being too spicy. Napali food is similar to Indian, but without the curry.

I really don't want to zing the place because they did so many things right. The atmosphere, service and food were excellent. The problem was that if you wanted a glass of wine or a mixed drink you could have the best of everything, however, if you wanted a decent beer you were out of luck. They do not have draft beer, and their selection of bottled beer was very poor. As I ate my excellent steak, I kept thinking, 'Wouldn't it be great the have a nice stout, porter or IPA to go along with this! Everything is first class except the beer.

My wife and I have been to this restaurant too many times to count. We have never been disappointed in either the service (we usually have Maura as our server) or the quality of the food. We have told many of our friends how satisfied we were there.

It was quite loud and crowded, but it's always been worth the wait. We were finally seated at a table by the water, and the view was lovely. Unfortunately, just then, the band in the bar started playing, and they were so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation. Since it was nice out, we asked if we could be moved to an outside table. The service was painfully slow, and our server came by several times to apologize for the long wait in getting our meal. We had been sitting there so long, that by the time we were done with our entree, we just wanted to leave, rather than wait even longer for coffee and dessert. The food was good, but not as good as it used to be.

The food and service is always excellent. I always get the baked chicken breast stuffed with shrimp topped with a nice light creamy Mexican sauce, not spicy but it has a little kick (too die for) and my friend always gets the seafood over linguini with a red Mexican sauce he raves about. The place does not look like much from the outside, but it has a real Mexican flavor inside.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. There was a short wait for our table so we had a drink upstairs at the bar. The bartender could not have been nicer. Our server, Rob, seated us shortly therefore. We had salad, entree (chicken parmigiana. The food was superb. Our server could not have been nicer. Also, in honor of my daughter's birthday, we received a complementary tiramisu and a limoncello for each of us. Hats off to the gang at Petrillo's!

We love the atmosphere, especially the funky bar with blue candle light. I could cut my New York strip steak with a butter knife and the mashed potatoes were the best I've tasted. The seared tuna was also great with homemade pasta. Desserts are wonderful and made by their own pastry chef. Wine list is nice, but a bit pricey - my only complaint. Cynthia from Weymouth, MA

This tiny and tastefully decorated restaurant is a true gem. The crab cake appetizer was filled with snow and lump crabmeat with wasabi dressing on the side. Outstanding! I ordered lobster fettuccini that was overflowing with lobster meat. Dessert was a bread pudding that was made with french baguettes with a Captain Morgan butter rum sauce, sliced banana and toasted sugar coated walnuts. It is pricey, but worth every penny from service to cleanliness to quality and quantity of food.

Staff and owner extremely friendly. Most entrees are from countries in Mediterranean area. Signature dish is an open hearth roast (slow roasted lamb with veggies and natural juices). This is my favorite but everything is very good, which is reason enough to return frequently. Decor accentuated by Bosnian copper tables, lounge with plush sofas. Exceptionally clean. We absolutely love this place.

I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is always consistent and the service is efficient without feeling rushed. We've had the Surf & Turf which consists of chunks of filet mignon grilled with choice of seafood. We've had the filet with baked stuffed shrimp or the shrimp scampi but my favorite is their grilled shrimp kabob with peppers and onions which has a little kick to it. My husband has also tried the strip steak and said it was the best he's had in years.

Rang is a great Indian restaurant in downtown Stoneham across from the Stoneham Theatre. The food is traditional Indian cuisine and prepared and cooked very well. I would recommend the Vegetable Korma and the Chicken Marsala. It is fairly small, about 10 tables, but the three waiters are very friendly and the service is quite fast. The owner is usually around to chat with the patrons as well.

We recently moved to the area and having heard good things about this place we tried it. It is outstanding. The restaurant is clean and spacious, the staff very friendly, and the food is wonderful. The menu is very expansive with numerous choices. My wife had a chicken quesadilla and I opted for a combination dish of beef burrito and chicken enchilada with nacho sauce accompanied with rice, beans and a bowl of fresh chili that we both shared. Everything came to the table piping hot and obviously freshly prepared. Everything was simply delicious, and not a hint of chili powder taste. The chili was the best I've ever had

One of the best Chinese buffets I have been to. The food was excellent. There was an abundant selection and excellent taste. Also the service was great. They give free refills on cold drinks and the price was
inexpensive $8.95 on a Saturday afternoon. The peel and eat shrimp were a very good size and well as the clams. I would give this a 10 for an inexpensive Chinese buffet.

I was really impressed with not only the ambiance, but the cuisine as well. The first courses are terrific, with a nice assortment of salads and terrines. I had the cod cakes and my colleague the Caesar salad. The cod cakes were light and crispy with a terrific sauce and the Caesar was very interestingly served in a small 'bowl' made from melted then shaped parmesan cheese. For entrees, I have had the lamb shank which was excellent! The wine list is terrific, offering good values on some wines not normally found on most wine lists. The service was efficient and friendly.

I had chicken maderia which was watery and my wife had swordfish which she found just so-so. I rated both meals a C minus. The service was very good but we sure would not go back. Based on our experience, the prices are much too high for the quality of the food served. Do yourself a favor and find one of Quincy's other waterfront restaurants when in that area.

We found this family owned and operated restaurant in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire while we were driving to Vermont. I had chicken Parmigiana with linguine and my traveling companion had a chicken parm sandwich. Our food was excellent. We recently had a short vacation in Maine. Our first meal there was lunch, as we picked the Maine Diner. We each had a lobster roll. You had your choice of getting it with mayo or drawn butter. I got mine with butter. It was delicious! I also had a cup of clam chowder. It was thick and rich and filled with clams. We were so impressed with our meals, we went back again the following morning for breakfast. The lobster eggs benedict was also excellent. We also had good service at our meals. Quick and friendly.

A friend and I went here for the first time last Saturday after it was recommended by someone who lived nearby. It was a pretty small, casual place with a bar side as well. The menu really was quite impressive; prices were very reasonable. One of the owners came over several times with suggestions when she heard it was our first time and even gave us a discount off the bill since we didn't have a coupon from the newspaper. The homemade fuscilli pasta and sauce was great as well. Definitely will go back!
