Sauté the hamburger meat in a pan. Chop onions and add to pan. Press the garlic cloves and place over the meat and onions. Now slice two carrots and add the sliced half head of cabbage and place in the pan. Salt and Pepper to taste.
Squeeze 1½ 28oz. cans of whole tomatoes by hand over the pan. Add 9 cups of water and scrape pan to deglaze. Add sauerkraut and crumble in the beef bouillon cubes. Finally, add 3 cups of ketchup.
Bring it to a boil then add 2 cups of rice – stir until rice is cooked. |
